Bosnian Outdoor Activities Association

BOAA is a relatively new “Not for Profit” association formed just prior to Covid with the aim to work towards benefiting outdoor activities. BOAA aims to give more children and youth a solid foundation for lifetime appreciation of the outdoor life. It works to promote outdoor life in schools and pre-schools as well to focus on the health benefits of outdoor activities in the years to come.
Our new association is titled “Bosnian Outdoor Activities Association (BOAA) and was established with the sole aim to promote the diverse and popular outdoor activities which are available here in Bosnia Herzegovina. One of the main highlights of our country is not only the diverse range of types of land we have but we still enjoy the freedom to roam throughout the country with limited restrictions on where and how you travel.

Goals:

• To Raise awareness of the diverse range of outdoor activities which are available in and around Bosnia Herzegovina.
• To digitally map all routes and treks within the country, and give clear route indications both electronically and locally on the site by using clearly defined markers and maps.
• Promotion of these activities as a healthier way of life.
• Promote active, versatile and environmentally-friendly outdoor activities and to preserve the outdoors and the cultural landscape.
• Link with all „like Minded” associations and clubs throughout the country to promote and share information
